Reflection
Now, trying to make connections with other classes that have taken here at SLCC, the only ones the come to mind are pyschology and chemistry since the brush a little about nutrition and the chemical processes that our body goes through with these foods and nutrients. By, taking this class it has taught me a lot more about nutrution and how it is very important for a healthy lifestyle. The only classes I can connect this calss with is back in high school when I took my nursing assistant course and other health courses I took. All three of them, educated us how important nutrition are and we should pay attention to what we're putting into our body and what food choices we make.
This course really open my eyes a lot more. I used to eat (there's still some cases I still do) you know whatever I wanted without thinking about it too much. Makes me think about more about what I'm about to eat and if I'm making the right choice into eating that. This course taught me what I'm lacking of and what I'm consuming too much of. The $10 challege did open my eyes a bit that I can buy quite a lot of food that can last me awhile and it doesn't have to be junk food. That you can definelty live a healthy lifestyle for not a lot of money especially if you're a college student.
